On this walking tour through Downtown Los Angeles' Little Tokyo district, guests will have an opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the neighborhood while stopping multiple times to sample local delicacies. Little Tokyo is home to several restaurants, bakeries, and other historical eating establishments. Its one hundred plus years of history provide some fascinating stories. Our tour will take you throughout Little Tokyo, from Fugetsu-Do, a confection shop and the oldest building in Little Tokyo, to Wakasaya, one of the newest restaurants in the area.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Vegetarian alternatives can be provided. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please let us know of them before you make a reservation so we can inform you of available alternatives.
If I am bringing an infant or very young child, do I need to purchase a ticket for them?
If children or infants will not be participating in the tasting, you do not need to purchase a ticket for them. Please let us know if you will be attending with a child or infant upon purchasing your tickets. Please note that any children under the age of 10 that WILL be participating in the tastings must purchase a reduced price child ticket.
Is time allotted for shopping during the tour?
We do allow for some time at each of our stops for some quick purchases. While tasting items will be offered for free at each location, if you taste something you like, we encourage you to take some home with you and support local businesses!
Are tours offered only in English?
Yes. At this time we are only offering tours in English. If you would like to make arrangements for your own interpreter to join the tour, please contact us.
What happens if it rains?
If a tour must be cancelled due to rain or other severe weather conditions, we will process a full refund.
Should I give the guide a tip?
If you had a great time on the tour and wish to recognize the tour guide for a job well done, gratuities are greatly appreciated. Gratuities to the individual food establishments on the tour are included. Occasionally, two tour guides will be guiding the group – we do not expect tips for both, a tip for one guide would be more than appreciated.
Is the tour wheelchair and/or stroller accessible?
All of the establishments we visit are wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Are there restroom breaks?
Yes, restrooms will be available at each stop and we are more than happy to take the time to make sure everyone is ready to move on!
Are cameras allowed?
Sure, go ahead and bring your camera - it will help you capture the experience!
How much food is served on the tour?
The food on the tour is enough food for a meal and a half. Come hungry!
How much walking is involved? Is it a fast-paced tour?
We believe it’s important to take your time, slowly enjoy your food, speak to your fellow tourists, and treat the tour as an experience that we’re all in together. There will be plenty of time to sit down, and all the restaurants are well within walking distance.
Total walking distance is about 2/3 of a mile.
Where can we park?
Little Tokyo has several surrounding parking lots. On Sundays, street parking is available. There is also a convenient lot on the corner of 1st and Central for a total of $6.50/day. After 8pm, street parking is free.

You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, less a 9.9% service fee to cover administrative costs and credit card fees, with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice. This reservation is non-cancelable and non-refundable any time within 48 hours of the event date and time.
