Price
$70 River Ride
Price includes a 1 hour ride to the Oklawaha river, 1 hour at the river, and 1 hour ride back from the river.
Children ages 2 through 6 may ride tandem with an adult for $10
Ages 6 and up may ride their own horse. The rate for children riding their own horse is the same as adults.
Operation
We operate 7 days a week during daytime hours AS LONG AS WEATHER PERMITS during the spring and summer. Let us know when you would like to schedule your ride and we will do our best to accomodate and match you with the right horses.
Summer River Ride
We offer a guided trail ride through beautiful central Florida to the Oklawaha River. At the river you can relax and even swim with the horses!
Rescue Horses
We started this business when we took in a few too many rescued horses, and gradually it took on a life of it's own. Our trail rides grew into a great family business. We started offering horseback riding to relieve the financial stress of caring for and feeding horses. Little did we know that 5 years later this great family run operation is supporting our horses and our family.
Rescue Story
"Beau was our first rescue. He was a 2 year old thoroughbred stallion. He was very under weight when the neighbors first brought him home. They did not have resources for a horse. The pen they were trying to keep him in would not hold him, especially with a mare just down the road on our property. They had him for a couple of months. For whatever reason, even though I tried to help to educate them on the needs that a horse has they would not repair his pen and he was continually dropping more and more weight. He would come to our property regulary and it was becoming a danger to our son 2 years old at the time. Racing into our yard at random times. So, after numerous times gave them a choice. Either we will buy the horse from you or we are going to call animal control. That was about 8 years ago. He is still with us and probably always will be."

There are plenty of other things to do while you are here. The Ocala National Forest is full of adventure and fun. From hiking and biking to 4-wheeling. There are many different natural springs close by, our favorite is Silver Glen. You can also canoe or boat in the Oklawaha River.

You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, less a 9.9% service fee to cover administrative costs and credit card fees, with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice. This reservation is non-cancelable and non-refundable any time within 48 hours of the event date and time.
