Recreating the essence of the film, Disney’s The Lion King features more than 40 actors in unique costume designs which include African-style masks with fitted headpieces and other movable costume parts, and more than 200 puppets that represent the African “savanna life.”
Experience the realistic re-enactment of the film during the moving “Circle of Life” scene, which takes place at Pride Rock where the young lion Simba is born. Performers represent giraffes, antelopes and an elephant standing just over 11 feet (3 meters) tall. Moving towards the stage from the aisles, the performers give the audience a jaw-dropping, up-close and personal experience.
Take a journey through the life of the young lion Simba, as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destined role as king. Phenomenal performances of popular songs include “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” and “Hakuna Matata.”
