Half day trips run from either 6am - 12pm or 12:30pm - 5:30pm, 7 days a week.
Half Day Fishing Trip in Newport Beach
On the local scene, 1/2 day trips, which run from 6am - 12pm and 12:30pm - 5:30pm, fish up and down the coast for bass, barracuda, rock fish, halibut, and the occasional yellowtail or white seabass. Hot spots for the 1/2 day trips include Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, and sometimes even Dana Point and Long Beach.

Our Coast Guard licensed skippers know the most productive fishing grounds in and out, and will take you to them in one of our modern boats designed for maximum fishing action! All of our boats are fully insured and coast guard certified, and they feature state-of-the-art navigational and fishing electronics for the ultimate experience and reward.
What Will I Catch?
Some people enjoy the pure sport of fishing, while others are looking to catch dinner! The warm waters of Newport and surrounding areas are filled with fish of all shapes and sizes, and are perfect for beginners and advanced fishermen. It would be nice to know what types of fish you can expect to see at what time of the year, and now you're in luck. Below is a helpful guide to what fish are typically available each month, however it is not guaranteed. The type of fish vary each year, depending on the season and water temperature.

What NOT To Bring
To ensure that your trip is a safe one for you and your fellow fishermen, we do not allow ice chests or coolers to be brought on board, and outside alcohol is not permitted.

Cancellation Policy, E-Ticket, and Other Information
You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, less a 9.9% service fee to cover administrative costs and credit card fees, with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice. This reservation is non-cancelable and non-refundable any time within 48 hours of the event date and time.
NOTE: Please arrive at least 30-45 minutes ahead of your scheduled departure time. Any person ages 16 and up is required by law to have a California fishing license. If you do not have one, you may purchase a one day license on-site for $14.30. Price of one-day license subject to change.
