Great Places to Mountain BikeWith exquisite mountain biking trails near the shop, as well as many miles of paved off-road trails, its our pleasure to invite you to come ride in and around Laguna Beach! Where else can you ride challenging trails for hours on end, and ride right back into town to catch a cold beer or soda?
We have several high-quality mountain bikes for rent....sorry, no real clunkers....look for that in Newport Beach or Huntington Beach. The terrain in and around Laguna Beach is very challenging, so we specialize in renting bicycles to real enthusiasts who want a taste of some of the world-class riding Orange County is famous for.
We are well versed on every trail ride. When you get to the shop, we will provide you with maps and other important information to make sure you get the most out of your ride time by the coast.
Choose Your Bike StyleWe offer Hard-tail bikes such as the KHS as well as Full suspension in Yeti, Marin, Turner and KHS.
Guided RidesOur guides are well versed on every trail ride to be had. Guided rides are $100 per ride, in addition to the rental fees. Tours will run 3-4 hours depending on terrain and rider skill level.
Delivery and Pickup AvailableDelivery and pickup of your bike is available from throughout Orange County. Delivery is $50.00 in addition to rental price. This includes fitting the bikes at the renter’s location. Or, if you prefer to come by and pick up the bike yourself you can do that at our convenient downtown Laguna Beach location.
Helmets & Shoes
If you have a helmet, please bring it along. We have test-ride loaner lids, yet yours has been fitted to your head so it will feel more comfortable and secure. Similarly, if you use a certain pedal/shoe system, you can bring your pedals, too, and we'll install them on the bike so you'll be able to ride what you're used to.
How We Prep the Bike
In most cases, once you've selected a model to test ride, we'll give it a quick once-over to ensure it's ride ready. This includes topping off the tire pressure and checking the brakes and gears. We may also need to adjust the seat to fine-tune the fit. And, if you're using a special pedal/shoe system and you brought your pedals, we'll install them, too.
Please tell us if you're unfamiliar with shifting and braking so we can demonstrate. Modern bicycles have improved considerably. It'll only take a few minutes for us to show you how the test-ride bicycle's shifters and brakes work. This little lesson guarantees you'll enjoy the ride, while also helping you fully appreciate the bike should you decide to buy it.
