My experience was awesome!!! I can’t believe I got to fly a plane! The staff was so friendly from the moment they saw me, and so sincere! Marty had to leave for Father’s Day and was very gracious about it, so Dave took me on my flight instead. They are all wonderful, the experience went just as I expected. No delays, no hassle. We have talked quite a bit about indoor skydiving in the past, but it’s for a good reason: people love it. You get to jump in a tube that has a huge fan blowing air so hard that it makes you float. A couple of Kijubi customers celebrated their anniversary and a birthday in style when they took part in our Running with Wolves Hummer Tour in Palm Springs.  On the tour, guests are taken to the only place on Earth where you can actually interact with wolves.

Things to do on Father’s Day in California 2009

Father’s day falls on June 21st this year, which is a Sunday. This is the day to spend with dad doing something fun, different, and exciting. At Kijubi.com, our intention is to offer a one-stop-shop for people to find and book these adventures with ease. So, let’s get to the bottom of this. Indoor Skydiving – This is a super activity for dad and the kids. You start off with a 30 minute video training. It’s not the most exciting, but it shows you everything you need to know about skydiving in general along with some tips and tricks for indoor skydiving. We have three locations in California where you can go Indoor Skydiving: Hollywood, Union City (near San Francisco), and Perris. Authentic Military Flight Simulator (Anaheim, CA) – I am sure most dad’s will definitely love this one. You have the opportunity to sit in a cockpit and have dogfights with the whole family. I knew I wanted to do something special and different for our 2 year anniversary. My fiance loves airplanes. So I thought what better way to let him experience flying than to book him a day on a flight simulator. I googled it and found the two websites. O

Full Day Fishing Trip (Newport Beach, CA) – My father always used to take me fishing as a child. Now that I am older, I know I can take him fishing. Some of the best catch of the season happens in June. For example, the common catch includes Rock Cod, Halibut, Calico Bass, Sand Bass, Albacore, Yellowtail, Barracuda, Bluefin Tuna, and Bonito. For under $70 for the entire day, you just can’t go wrong.

Time to plan for 2009 Fishing trips in California

It’s that time again folks. Time to start scheduling your 2009 fishing trips. The months of May to September are always popular and sell out rather quickly. We have trips departing from Dana Point (half-day fishing charter, full day fishing charter) and Newport Beach (half-day fishing charter, full day fishing charter, twilight fishing trip).

  • May & June fishing trips to Catalina Island are excellent. Fish include calico bass, barracuda, and bonito. Also, some of the largest yellowtail of the season are caught during this time. Overnight trips to San Clemente Island are also available. All of these trips include live quid to be used as bait for big white sea bass and large yellowtail.
  • August & September fish include yellowtail, albacore tuna, yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, dorado, and more. Lengthy trips should be booked well in advance, as these are the hottest fishing months of the season.
  • October can sometimes be the perfect month to go fishing. Many people think the fishing is not as good, therefore there is more availability. The Cortez Bank brings in some of the largest yellowtail.

Indoor SkyDiving in Los Angeles

I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun this was. From the time we arrived until the very moment we left we seriously had a blast. Indoor skydiving is exactly that, skydiving inside. You get the same feeling of skydiving, except you aren’t jumping out of a plane. Instead, you are in a large tube with a huge fan on the bottom, otherwise known as a wind tunnel. There are several in California, but we went to the one in Hollywood.

After providing our e-ticket we were escorted into a room where Matt, our instructor, gave us the techniques we needed to know about skydiving in about 15 minutes. We then watched a 10 minute video that shows you live examples of how to do what you are about to experience. Once the video ended Matt took us to a locker room where we got into our flying gear; the suit, helmet, goggles, and ear plugs. They even had shoes and sox if we needed them. There are lockers to store your belongings, and you definitely want to use them or you will loose it in the wind tunnel.

We were now ready to do our activity. I went first! You walk up to the entry of the wind tunnel and you can feel the energy. It is extremely powerful. Cross your arms against your chest and just fall forward. The wind immediately picks you up and like magic, you are flying on the spot. There are techniques you can use to maneuver yourself around the tunnel. For example, if you extend your arms and legs, you rise up to the top, if you bring them in towards your body, you drop down. If you slightly tilt both of your hands to the right or left, you turn in that direction.

The instructor is always in the tunnel with you, so you really have nothing to worry about. If you are comfortable in the tunnel, they will take you to the top and bring you down several times and spin you around. I highly recommend everyone try this out sooner than later. It is just an amazing experience that can’t be missed.

I don’t recommend doing the 1 minute flight, as you will definitely want more. Get ready for one of the best activities you will ever experience. Indoor Skydiving in Los Angeles is also a great idea for a gift.
