Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Go San Diego Card?
A Go San Diego Card is an attraction pass that gets you into multiple attractions for one low price. It provides admission to 49 San Diego attractions and many included extras. A Go San Diego Card is your pass to the city: you can use it to get into as many attractions as you want.

How does a Go San Diego Card Work?
You will receive a physical card that will serve as your pass to all of our included San Diego attractions. Simply present your card at any of the included attractions between 9:00am-5:30pm and get same day entry.

How do I get one?
Decide how many consecutive calendar days you want to sightsee in San Diego. Buy a pass for each person in your party. Have your cards picked up when you get there at one of our voucher redemption locations. Enjoy a FREE guidebook included with each order to help plan your itinerary.

BONUS OFFER
If you purchase a 3, 5 or 7 day card, you get admission to Sea World on up to three of your valid card days. You must use your visits on valid card day (not after the card has expired). Please see your guidebook for more details.

What’s the catch?
There’s no catch. Go San Diego Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to San Diego as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.

Compare the price of the card to the retail prices of the attractions to see how much you can save. Many customers save more than 50%.

What do you mean by consecutive calendar days?
The first time you visit an attraction, it will “activate” the calendar day countdown on your card. For example, a 3-day card activated on a Monday will be valid on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It doesn’t matter what time you activate the card on the first day, so we suggest you start your day early.

How does the Bonus attraction work?
If you purchase a 3, 5 or 7 day card, you get admission to Sea World on up to three of your valid card days. Your bonus does not give you an extra day on the card. Please see your guidebook for more details.

How many days should I buy?
Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. We suggest you count the number of attractions and divide by the number of days to get an estimate. Our most popular card is the 3-day card.

Can I share my Go San Diego Card with a friend, or sell it?
A Go San Diego Card is non-transferrable. Once you start using it, you are the only person who can use it to get into attractions. You must sign the signature strip on the back of the card and you may be asked to present an ID. Go San Diego Cards cannot be re-sold.

If you are traveling with a group, you may be asked to present each member of your group at the ticket window, for proof of ID.

Can I visit multiple theme parks in a single day?
Some attractions like Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and LegoLand have this symbol on their page this means that once you visit the attraction, you have to wait three hours before your card is valid at another attraction that has that symbol. You can visit attractions that don’t have the symbol inside the three hour period if you choose to.

For example, if you visit the San Diego Zoo at 9am, you won’t be able to get into SeaWorld or LegoLand until noon.

Is my card valid all day?
Your card is valid for daytime admission to attractions. This means that attractions cannot be visited after 5:30pm with the Go San Diego Card — so plan your day accordingly.

Can I visit the same attraction more than once?
In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the card. Please reference your guidebook page for specific information on each attraction.

What is the age cut off for child tickets?
Child cards are for ages 3-12. Most attractions are free for children under 3.

Where can I pick up my card once I get to the city?
View a list of locations where you can redeem your voucher on your E-ticket.

Where can I buy the card once I get there?
View a list of sales locations in San Diego. Note that if we are running a web-only sale, the in-city sales locations will not be able to honor that sale price. In-city purchases are available at full price only.

Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?
Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.

Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.

Super stressful when I realize the day of the event I booked the wrong city. Called up and emailed about it and in less than an hour it was all sorted out. Was worried about going through a third party for a slight cheaper rate, but Kijubi more than exceeded my expectations.
