Zero Gravity Flight Experience
The Zero Gravity Experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience true weightlessness. On our specially modified Boeing 727, parabolic arcs are performed to create a weightless environment allowing you to float, flip and soar as if you were in space.
Your zero gravity flight experience includes 12-15 parabolas, your own zero gravity flight suit, our merchandise, a Regravitation Celebration, certificate of weightless completion, photos and video of your unique experience. Read more about how it works.
How It Works
Aboard our specially modified Boeing 727, G-Force One, weightlessness is achieved by doing aerobatic maneuvers known as parabolas. Specially trained pilots perform these aerobatic maneuvers which are not simulated in any way. Our passengers experience true weightlessness.
Before starting a parabola, G-Force One flies level to the horizon at an altitude of 24,000 feet. The pilot then begins to pull up, gradually increasing the angle of the aircraft to about 45° to the horizon reaching an altitude of 34,000 feet. During this pull-up, passengers will feel the pull of 1.8 Gs. Next the plane is “pushed over” to create the zero gravity segment of the parabola. For the next 20-30 seconds, everything in the plane is weightless. Next a gentle pull-out is started which allows the flyers to stabilize on the aircraft floor. This maneuver is repeated 12-15 times, each taking about ten miles of airspace to perform.
In addition to achieving zero gravity, G-Force One also flies a parabola designed to offer Lunar gravity (one sixth your weight) and Martian gravity (one third your weight). This is created by flying a larger arc over the top of the parabola.
G-Force One flies in a FAA designated airspace that is approximately 100 miles long and ten miles wide. Usually three to five parabolas are flown consecutively with short periods of level flight between each set.
What To Expect
When joining a Zero Gravity Experience aboard G-Force One, you will encounter the only commercial opportunity on Earth for individuals to enjoy true weightlessness without going to space. The day of your experience will last about five hours and will adhere to the following schedule:
Check-In: When you arrive at the designated Zero Gravity Training Facility, you will check in with your government-issued picture identification. You will then be introduced to your Team Coach and escorted into the Orientation Room where you can enjoy a light breakfast before orientation begins.
Pre-Flight Orientation: A pre-flight video begins the orientation, covering everything you need to know concerning your Zero Gravity Experience. After the video you will be broken into teams of Gold, Silver or Blue, where you will be able to meet your group and cover additional questions with your Coach.
Security: After the orientation all flyers and Coaches will proceed through security screening, just like you would at an airport. Please note that carry-on items are limited and must fit in your pocket.
Transportation: Once screening is complete, all flyers will proceed to the aircraft. Transportation to G-Force One will differ depending on the location of the flight.
Travel to Fly Zone: Before boarding, a group picture will be taken in front of G-Force One. Once everyone is seated, a brief on-board safety demonstration will be given by the Flight Attendants before takeoff. Depending on the approved airspace, it will take about 30 minutes to reach appropriate altitude.
The Experience: Once the okay is given to unbuckle, all flyers will head to the Gold, Silver or Blue Floating Zone. You are now minutes away from becoming weightless. 12-15 parabolas are flown for an approximate weightless time of eight minutes.
Regravitation Celebration: After your weightless experience, you and your fellow flyers will enjoy the Regravitation Celebration where the pre-flight photos and certificates are handed out and refreshments are provided.

Our Aircraft: G-Force One
G-Force One is a modified Boeing 727-200. An upgrade to G-Force One’s hydraulic system allows for continuous hydraulic pressure during parabolic performance. The modification, along with the addition of accelerometers in the cockpit, were tested and approved by the FAA. No structural modifications were made to the aircraft’s interior or exterior.
The interior of G-Force One has been altered to allow for maximum floating space. 38 seats are located in the rear of the plane. In front of the seats, three Floating Zones are divided by gold, silver and blue tape. Closest to the seats is the silver section. Directly after the silver section is the blue section, followed by the gold section. The Floating Zone is padded from floor to ceiling with one rope running down each side of the plane.
To board G-Force One, stairs open from the rear underbelly of the aircraft.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Non-Flyer Guest Package?
A Non-Flyer Guest Package is designed for friends and family members who want to join in on the pre and post flight activities, but would rather keep both feet on the ground. The Non-Flyer Guest Package includes our merchandise and attendance at the pre-flight briefing and Regravitation Celebration. Pease note that guests will not be admitted into the Training Facility if a reservation is not confirmed.
How long does the flight last? How long will I feel weightless?
The flight portion of a Zero Gravity Experience lasts approximately 90 to 100 minutes. During the flight, 12-15 parabolas are performed, each providing about 30 seconds of reduced gravity or weightlessness. By the end of the flight you will log about 6-7 minutes of reduced gravity - that's about as much zero-gravity time as Alan Shepard experienced on America's first human spaceflight.
Are parabolic flights safe?
Parabolic flights are extremely safe and have been flown for the past 50 years by NASA, The Russian Space Program and European Space Agency.
Are there any medical restrictions?
All passengers will be asked to sign a Medical History Form that includes a series of questions pertaining to certain medical conditions. If you do not have any of these conditions, it will not be necessary to consult with a doctor. If you do have any of the indicated conditions, you must confer with your personal physician and obtain his/her sign-off. If you are pregnant or have heart or back problems, you should consult your physician to see if this experience is appropriate for you.
Are there age restrictions?
Children 8 years of age or older can experience weightlessness aboard G-Force One. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
We have no age limit and have enjoyed the attendance of several passengers in their 90’s.
Will I experience Motion Sickness?
It is very unlikely that you will experience motion sickness. The Zero Gravity Experience was designed to provide flyers a fun and pleasant experience, and over the years we have succeeded in reducing the number of flyers who experience motion discomfort on G-Force One. Today, very few people experience uneasiness or nausea during the flight.
However, if you are prone to motion discomfort, here are some suggestions we encourage you to consider.
- Use of over-the-counter medication: Dramamine and Meclizine are most common and often used by our flyers. Other products, such as MotionEaze or Sea Band, have also been used by our past flyers. These non-prescription medicines are widely available and can be found at most drugstores.
- Consultation with your physician: If you feel that over-the-counter medications are not sufficient, we strongly recommend that you consult your physician to discuss your options including prescription medicines.
During the pre-flight training, we provide some useful tips on in-flight movements that will help reduce your chances of getting sick. Unlike the astronauts in training, our flyers will experience between 12-15 parabolas, which is enough to have fun, but not long enough to cause motion discomfort.
What is the refund or transfer policy?
Once a Zero Gravity Flight Experience or Non-Flyer Package is purchased, your reservation is non-refundable. However, it is transferable; you may provide the name of a passenger to take your place up to five (5) business days prior to flight day.
Other Important Information
The purchaser acknowledges that all passengers will be required to agree to our terms and conditions, will attend all pre-flight training and sign all flyer registration forms including a liability waiver and medical declaration prior to flight. In the event that a passenger is unable to meet these terms and conditions, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to transfer the reservation to a passenger who does accept the terms and conditions and notify us.
We have the right to reschedule a flight for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to: cancelled airspace, mechanical and/or maintenance, and minimum required passengers. We will inform passengers of a rescheduled flight by written notice as soon as a rescheduled date is set. The purchaser has three business days to choose either a full refund or an alternate scheduled flight date within 12 months of the original flight date. If no choice is made within three business days, the purchaser will forfeit the right to a refund and must fly on the rescheduled flight or lose the purchase price.
In the unlikely event that any condition prevents us from flying, we will make our best effort to reschedule the flight within 48 hours of the scheduled flight. If we are unable to reschedule a flight or you are unable to fly on the rescheduled flight, the purchaser can either receive a full refund or book a seat on any other available flight within 12 months of the original scheduled flight. The extent of our liability is limited to refund of the price paid for the Zero Gravity Experience and/or Non-Flyer Package.
We are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the purchaser or passenger due to rescheduled and/or cancelled flights. We strongly encourage the purchase of trip cancellation insurance for all passengers.
