Safe, Fun and Exciting Surf Adventure!
Have you ever wanted to rip up the surf, catch a wave like the best, experience the unique world inside the famed pipeline, and of course, impress the masses on the beach? This surf lesson in beautiful Santa Monica will teach you the skills required for a lifetime of surfing.

Come learn how to surf in a private or group setting. Pick your wave; timing just takes time. Like a batter waiting for a pitch, the surfer waits for the perfect wave and the timing required comes from experience. Our goal is to get each student to reach a safe surfing level whereby each student has an understanding of basic surfing techniques. We will adjust the teaching methods accordingly, but the end goal is the same - To get you surfing at a level where it is safe for you to practice on your own. Your safety is our concern and having fun is our mission!

You'll Learn From the Best!
Our Santa Monica surf lessons for beginners start in the sand with instruction on paddling, how to 'pop-up' on your board, stance and balance. Your instructor will cover ocean safety, picking waves, and of course, surfing etiquette. Then it's into the surf! With your instructor's hands-on help, you'll practice catching waves and standing up on your board. Typically, after one lesson you'll be good enough to practice on your own. You'll be shredding in no time!

Equipment

We use "soft" longboards and full and/or spring wetsuits for our lessons.

Location

You will have access to two different locations with nice and mellow waves to surf on.

Safety First

Our instructors are CPR and First Aid certified.

Meet & Greet

We meet at parking lot 3 or 4 south in Santa Monica where you will check in, sign waivers, etc. We will outfit you with a wetsuit or you can bring your own. Then we will escort you to the lifeguard tower where you'll begin your day of adventure and fun.

Transportation
If you are visiting from out of town and are staying in Santa Monica, we offer FREE transportation from any hotel within the Santa Monica area. Please specify details at time of checkout.

What to Bring

Bring a towel, bathing suit and change of clothes.

Cancellation Policy, E-Ticket, and Other Information

You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, less a 9.9% service fee to cover administrative costs and credit card fees, with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice. This reservation is non-cancelable and non-refundable any time within 48 hours of the event date and time.

NOTE: If you wish to be picked up from a hotel in the Santa Monica area, you will be asked to indicate the hotel name and address during checkout. Participants must be able to swim and be in good health. Gratuity for our instructors are welcome. The industry standard is 15-20%.
